The air separator is used to remove air from the pressure piping. Excessive air in the pressure piping causes hydraulic shocks and can damage the performance of the piping and the lifetime of the equipment. The diameter of the air separation pit is chosen depending on the diameter of the pipework, the amount of equipment desired in the pit and the dimensions. It is a complete well equipped with an internal pipe and a suitable air diffuser. The data for the air separation well and the production drawing shall be determined in accordance with the design. We will draw up a working drawing, which can be used to check and approve the product – and then we will produce the desired well.
Depending on the amount of water flowing in the pressure pipeline, a suitable air separator is also selected.
